
Project: AOL Mobile/Digital Music
Goals: Gain insight into the digital music landscape and test device concept to determine feasibility of developing and launching new wifi-enabled music device.
Tactics: As Product Marketing lead, I worked with our agency on conducting qualitative (attitudes and awareness) consumer marketing research about digital music along with a product design prototype in three countries, four cities (US: Chicago, UK: London and Glasgow, China: Beijing).
Results: Consumer feedback determined enough interest that device was eventually produced by Haier and distributed by Real Networks/Rhapsody.
